Castaways Marina

Standing at the edge of Coconut point looking up the Loxahatchee River, I wonder how far away I could see with my camera lens fully extended.

I could see the Castaways Marina and the pelicans sitting atop the pilings along the boat docks.

Barely visible behind the pelicans I could see the chairs at the  Square Grouper Tiki Bar  which is nestled in the darkness of the coconut palms. It's a favorite spot of the Jupiter locals.

Alan Jackson, filmed his 'Its Five O'clock Somewhere' video at the Square Grouper Tiki Bar.

  11. What a cool setting! And yes.. a banana daiquiri would be divine. Well, maybe not now at 9:20 in the evening, but maybe poolside in July. At least here in Or. lol.

  16. That marina looks so familiar but I know we haven't stayed there -- must be something the same about all of them! '

I wish I had a nickel for every "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" flag I've seen in RV Parks all over the country (not that I necessarily disagree with the sentiment ;>)

  17. Lovely post! One of my favorite memories from visiting Florida years ago was to see the pelicans sitting on top of the posts at the marina.
