{ Green Feathered Beauties }

My Fisherman had to replenishing his fishing lures so we headed south to Outdoor World in Fort Lauderdale.

Getting out of the car, I heard the unmistakable loud calls of Monk Parakeets.

  These green acrobats were biting off the small branches for material to build their nest in the coconut palms at the entrance to the store.

So much for spring flowers on those trees!

  2. we have a large flock of these that fly over the house sometimes, they are very loud, and we have seen them sitting on wires many times, but I have never been close enough to get photos.
