Limpkin Luncheon

Limpkin

Recently I found this old photo I took while walking the trails at Riverbend Park.
We had stopped at one of the larger ponds when I spotted this sweet little Linpkin eating an Apple Snail.
There were several empty shells strewn along the bank so she must have had a lot of munching going on before we got there.

Just look at those eyes.. (ok, eye) isn't she cute :>)

Happy weekend to all :)

  5. cute, great capture. have you ever heard how loud they are? the condo lake had a couple and the people that live there were putting out a bounty on it for anyone brave enough to get rid of it. i have never heard such a racket, and they go on for hours without stopping.
