Twas a Quiet Day

When from the yard I heard such a loud bird chatter.

I flew to the window to see what was the matter.

Lil' Red and Mr Blue were on alert and hiding in a tree.

While Squirrely was squawking as loud as could be.

Stepping outside I spied a Mockingbird fearlessly dive bombing a Red-shouldered hawk perched on a pole.

Unperturbed,  the hawk contently sat there watching the bird and I stalking him :)

  9. what a lovely set of photos, another time I am a bit no quite envious of the lovely creatures that others come so close to..we are in the middle of an ancient village and not too much of a variety here and this year we've only seen three squirrels. I enjoyed seeing these beautiful creatures.
